Electronic Systems’ Chair was founded in 1985.
It is a subdivision of Automation and Electrotechnical Systems Department.
Now the Chair staff numbers 11 lecturers (including 6 PhD and 3 post-graduate students) and 5 attendants.
The Chair has multimedia lecture theatre, computer room, 5 subject and 3 research laboratories.
The education is realized according to the Bologna Credit-Module multilevel system adopted in Europe. There are 3 educational levels:
- Bachelor;
- Specialist;
- Master.
Bachelor degree requires 4 years of academic study. Specialist degree
requires 1 years of academic study on Bachelor degree basis. Master degree requires 1
years of academic study on Bachelor degree or Specialist degree basis.
According to licensed every year accept:
- Bachelor degree – 75;
- Specialist degree – 50;
- Master degree – 10.
Third-year students can choose one of the education specializations:
- power electronic devices and systems;
- microprocessor devices and systems.
At the present moment 250 students of the Chair are working hard to develop
and improve their professional skills in electronics.
